Wednesday volunteers were greeted this morning with two loggerhead crawls and nests. One was in Zone 3 and was located by Chris Nietert And was left in situ. Congrats Chris on your first nest as a new prober this year!! The other was just north of the Patterson cabin in Zone 4 with 120 eggs relocated to a higher and drier location. This nest was probed by Vicki Anne Nestor. Once again, the Wed team made me proud to be their co-day leader.
Our totals now stand at 4 diamond back terrapin nests all in Zone 1 and 3 loggerhead sea turtle nests. Two in Zone 3 and one in Zone 4
It will! Hoping it’s coming soon 😊
