2024 is still showing strong nesting activity at 33 days in. Still ahead of the pace set during the 2022 and 2023 nesting seasons. We are now about 40% through what would be a average nesting season of 84 days. The longest Hunting Island nesting season on record was last year - 110 days. The shortest was in 2021 - 73 days.
