The Saturday Sea Turtle patrol team scores one for Hunting Island. Yep! That's right, The FOHI Sea Turtle teams also report on the Diamondback Terrapins that are nesting on our beach to SCDNR. In South Carolina, diamondback terrapins are listed as a "high priority" species for conservation in the Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy.
