One of our teams that had found no nest thus far this year found a nest in zone 2. Happy day for them. Another team in zone 4 had three false crawls ~ most likely from the same turtle. She attempted to dig nest, but gave up each time. Further into the zone they found her ~ YES! She had fallen between fallen trees and was stuck. She was lifted up and out of her trap and sent on her way. This was a really HAPPY DAY for thise involved, both turtle and human! Photos are posted in a seperate posting

Great job! We were on patrol in Zone 1 and missed all the excitement. Darn it! Nothing but a beautiful sunrise on our end of the beach. What an amazing rescue and the video is just awesome! Yeah Thursday Turtle Teams!!!
