Beautiful sunrise as we start up Zone 1.
Moderate temps, low humidity and a light north breeze made for an enjoyable walk on the beach.
The birds decided it was to rough for feeding in the ocean and decided to have their morning coffee on the beach.
Finally found where the ski and the sea meet.
The only activity was this broken egg found on top of nest 55. We found a lot of plastic bags and bottles washed up in Zone 1 from the storm.
The pictures were taken by permitted volunteers under permit 2024-MTP537 & 2024-MTP565, Following all rules and guidelines. Only permitted individuals are allowed to engage in sea turtle conservation activities.
